How insane are these works by photographer Stephen Wilkes? For his series entitled "Night and Day" Wilkes took hundreds of photographs over the span of a day (some took 15 hours) carefully adjusting the shutter to allow for proper exposure as the sun set. To create the final image, Wilkes blends about 50 images into one large panoramic. Stunning.
